Getting started

  1. Install SIZD from the install link provided by your account manager.
  2. Approve the requested permission (read products only).
  3. Open SIZD → Size Charts and add at least one chart. A chart can apply to all products (default), to a product type, or to a specific product.
  4. Open SIZD → Settings to customize the button text, colors, and the photo upload instructions shown to shoppers.
  5. In the theme editor, open a product template, click Add block inside the main product section, and add SIZD Try It On. Save the theme.

How shoppers use it

  1. A shopper clicks Try It On on a product page.
  2. They consent to photo processing and upload one photo. Photos are stored securely and auto-deleted after 30 days.
  3. AI generates a try-on image and estimates body measurements, then matches them to your size chart.
  4. The shopper sees the result and a recommended size.

Size charts

A size chart is a list of size labels (e.g. S, M, L, XL) paired with body measurements (chest, waist, hips). You can create:

  • A default chart — applies to any product without a more specific match.
  • Per product type — e.g. one chart for "T-Shirts", another for "Jackets".
  • Per product — overrides everything for a specific product.

Customizing photo instructions

In Settings → Photo Upload Instructions, edit the headline and the bulleted tips shown in the upload step. For example, a jewelry store might replace the default "full-body photo" copy with guidance for a close-up shot. Styling is preserved — only the text changes.

Troubleshooting

The Try It On button doesn't appear on my product page

  • Open the theme editor and confirm the SIZD Try It On block is added to the product template.
  • In Settings, confirm "Enable virtual try-on widget" is checked.
  • If you limited the widget to specific products, confirm the current product is in that list.

Try-on fails with an error message

  • Most errors are transient — ask the shopper to try again. Photos expire after 30 days; if the shopper uses an old session, they will be prompted to upload a new photo.
  • If the error message mentions "SQ01", the AI service credits are exhausted. Contact support.

Size recommendation seems off

  • Verify your size chart measurements are correct for the product.
  • The AI estimates measurements from the shopper's photo — accuracy improves with a clear full-body photo against a plain background.

Privacy and data

SIZD is compliant with GDPR and CCPA. Shoppers give explicit consent before any photo is processed. Photos and try-on results auto-delete after 30 days. See the privacy policy for full details.

Uninstalling

Uninstall SIZD from Settings → Apps and sales channels in Shopify admin. Your session is deleted immediately. Stored photos are deleted within 30 days by the standard retention job. To request immediate deletion of all shop data, email office@sizdtryon.com.
